Matteo Berra's website

My friend Matteo Berra, sculptor and photographer has a new website.
Above is a picture from Almost Alive, a series of mesmerising, fascinating photographs Matteo is shooting in all the major natural history museums around the world.
And here is Milano, a reproduction of the Milan's map made with wood scrap and saw dust, part of a series of installations and sculptures focused on the city subject.

Movember

Hello,

A bit late, I'm doing Movember and I opened an account...

Movember link

Please donate something! It's for a noble cause: to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate cancer.

Cheers

MPC Film Reel

Have a look at the new MPC film reel here!
It also contains a shot that I animated for Night at the Museum 2. It's a very short one but very crowded! There is a pterodactyl, a skeleton sabretooth tiger, 5 kangaroos, a baby giraffe and a hippo, all running (or flying).
Click on the image to view the shot.

Life Drawing in MPC

Another one from the MPC life drawing class, this time with a male model: very interesting anatomy and a good actor as well.

Evian, Skating Babies

Evian Skating Babies is the last project I worked on in the MPC commercial department, before moving back to film.
We were 4 animators led by VFX supervisor Dean Robinson.
We used keyframe animation, especially for the hero babies and motion capture as well.

Have a look!

In the last two months I've been working in the MPC commercial department.
This is the last project I did, for San Diego Zoo:
